Climb our Hills into History / Walk Along the River’s Edge / Paddle Through Time.

Rate: Vigorous… Highlights: ice industry / electricity innovations (William Stanley) / agriculture / mills and dams / environmental justice and civil rights (W.E.B. Du Bois) / the river in pre-colonial, industrial, and present times / natural resource protection.

8:45 Registration at Mahaiwe Theatre.
9:00 AM: 3.5 mile Great Barrington loop hike to Lake Mansfield and Lake Mansfield Conservation Forest Trail.
River Walk tour with Wm Stanley and DuBois interpretive exhibits.
Canoe ride to Sheffield covered bridge…and more.
