|1991: On August 3, 1991, the Housatilla Float, a flotilla of 50 decorated boats, celebrated 3 years of massive cleanup activities. The first of its kind on the Housatonic River, the parade was led by Stockbridge Munsee Native Americans whose ancestors last sailed the river 200 years ago.
