    Please note: River Walk is no longer open for river access.

    The erosion on the downstream bank as well as the impact of foot traffic within the fragile habitat areas have resulted in the need to discontinue any river access from the River Walk trail. 

    Paddlers are advised to use boat access areas available on Brookside Road, Division Street, and East Sheffield Road in Great Barrington. There is also river access at Covered Bridge Lane in Sheffield.
