March for Science

On April 22, 2017, two hundred Berkshire scientists, science teachers, science advocates, and the Berkshire Stompers brass band joined the world-wide March for Science and its 600+ satellite marches to demonstrate our passion for science and sound a call to support and safeguard the scientific community.

The march began at the W.E.B Du Bois River Park, proceeded along Main Street to River Walk’s Main Street entrance upstream, then returned to our starting point by following the River Walk trail along the Housatonic River.
